The role

With us, you build new things – from the first line of code. No legacy legacy, but freedom to shape the architecture, stack and working methods for a groundbreaking system that will scale in multiple countries. Do you like creating new things? As our CTO, you get to own the journey from idea to global rollout – with the best possible conditions to build a future-proof and groundbreaking system.

As our CTO, you will have overall responsibility for our technical strategy and architecture. You will:

  • Lead and develop our technical team.

  • Responsible for selection of technical frameworks and tools.

  • Ensure high quality and scalability in our products.

  • Drive developments in AI and machine learning.

  • Build a long-term tech roadmap in close dialogue with management and the business side.

  • Develop and streamline our current work routines.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A solid education in IT/Tech (e.g., civil engineering, computer science or equivalent).

  • Deep knowledge in programming and system architecture.

  • Experience with AI/ML – from model development to implementation in production.

  • Experience in building and leading teams in tech.

  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with a "hands-on" drive.

Requirements for AI-driven development methods
We are looking for a senior developer who is not only comfortable with traditional programming, but who fully embraces AI development in their working methods. You see AI as a natural extension of your own skills and use tools like Claude Code or even platforms like Lovable to quickly and efficiently deliver specific solutions.
This means you have the ability to:
    • Drive development projects with AI as the engine throughout the entire process – from idea to finished delivery.
    • Switch between hands-on coding and using AI tools to accelerate productivity and quality.
    • Explore, test and implement new AI support to optimize team workflows and create breakthrough solutions.

It would be advantageous if you have experience in:

  • Scalable SaaS solutions.

  • Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure or GCP).

  • Startup/scaleup environments where you build from scratch.
