A defined engagement where we go through your goods flow from a customs perspective and deliver a written summary of what we find.
It is not a quote for declarations. It is a review of how customs handling looks today, what it costs and where it deviates from the rules. What you do with the findings is up to you.
How it works

- We go through what you bring in and send out, from where, in what volumes and on what terms.
- 2. Review
- Commodity codes, origin, customs value, delivery terms and permits are checked against how they are actually declared today.
- 3. Findings
- You get a written summary of what deviates, what it costs and what can be changed.
Three steps
We start from your own figures, so the result is concrete: which products carry the wrong code, which origin cannot be substantiated, and which permits would pay off.
Most surprises in a consultation are not about anything unlawful. They are about money paid for no reason.
What we usually find
Commodity codes set once and never reviewed. Proofs of origin claimed without the supporting evidence still on file. Delivery terms that put the customs value higher than it needs to be. Permits the company has been eligible for over several years without applying.
None of that is unusual, and none of it shows in day to day handling. It shows when someone goes through the flow as a whole.

How is this different from advisory?
A consultation is a defined engagement with a beginning and an end, where we go through the whole goods flow and deliver a summary. Advisory is ongoing support on individual questions, without reviewing the whole. Many start with a consultation and continue with advisory as questions come up.
What do you need from us?
Usually an extract of the last year of imports and exports, the article list with the commodity codes you use today, and a few sample invoices and transport documents. If you hold permits from Swedish Customs we want to see those too. We will say if anything is missing.
Do we have to be a customer?
No. A consultation can be ordered on its own, and the findings are yours regardless of who files the declarations afterwards.
What does it cost?
It depends on how many goods and flows are included. Get in touch with a short description of the business and we will come back with a fixed price before we start.
