Bringing goods into Sweden? We help with customs handling, from the documents before shipment to a completed declaration. Find the right route based on the country and goods you are importing.
Import gets expensive when the supporting documents are missing something. A commodity code that is almost right, an invoice without a clear goods description or an unclear freight cost can be enough for the case to stop.
Send what you have. We review the invoice, packing list and transport details, tell you what is missing and submit the import declaration when the documents are ready. You do not need to know the commodity code before contacting us.
Start your import case
Invoice, packing list, freight details and goods description are reviewed before the declaration is submitted.
We identify the commodity code, customs value and procedure, and submit the case as your customs broker.
For companies we work with EORI and power of attorney. For private individuals, a personal identity number is often enough.
If something is missing, we contact you before the declaration goes in, not when the goods are already stuck.
You can contact us before your first purchase, when a shipment is on its way or when you need help with recurring imports.
We review the documents, ask for anything missing and submit the declaration as your customs broker. Tell us what you are importing, where it comes from and when the goods are expected, and we can assess what help you need.
Want to understand the declaration itself? Read our import declaration guide with explanations of documents, commodity codes, customs value and common questions.
Import quick facts
It is better to start with incomplete documents than to wait. We tell you what is missing before the declaration is submitted.
An import declaration does not get better by being submitted quickly if the documents are wrong. The fastest route is to check before it is submitted.
The import declaration notifies goods brought into the EU customs territory. It forms the basis for customs duty, import VAT and Swedish Customs’ checks. We submit the declaration and make sure the details match the documents. Read more about import declarations.

Start with the guide for the country you are buying from. It brings together information about the import and what to consider before the shipment.
Buying from another country? Contact us about your import, and we will go through the requirements with you.
The country is one part of the question. Choose a guide for the goods too when you need more information about your specific purchase.
See more import guides in the customs guide.
Moving to Sweden from outside the EU is different from an import, and personal belongings may enter without customs duty and VAT. The conditions are on the page about moving to Sweden.
If you have an invoice, packing list or freight document, please include them. If you are still planning the purchase, start by describing the goods and the seller. You do not need to know the commodity code to ask us for help.

Send the invoice and packing list. We tell you what is missing and whether the case can be declared directly.
The customs value, on which duty and VAT are calculated, is declared in a customs value declaration.
If you disagree with a customs decision, it can be reviewed. Read about customs reassessment.
Yes. Private individuals can use a customs broker when importing a car, boat, machinery or other goods from outside the EU. In those cases, a Swedish personal identity number is normally enough instead of an EORI number.
Companies normally need an EORI number to import. If you do not have one, we can help you apply before the declaration is submitted.
Start with the invoice, packing list and transport document. If you have proof of origin, product sheets or other information about the goods, include that too. You do not need to know the commodity code before contacting us.
Customs duty is paid according to Swedish Customs’ decision. If your company is VAT registered in Sweden, you normally report import VAT to the Swedish Tax Agency yourself. If you are a private individual or not VAT registered, import VAT is charged at import.
With complete documents, a normal case can often be handled the same day. Delays are almost always caused by missing details: unclear goods description, incorrect value, unclear freight cost or missing power of attorney.
